From today I'll change my blog`s language, in English from now on...
I know that I was gone a while without updating my blog. Actually, after my trip to Eastern European my computer broke. Otherwise I would have kept my page updated.
I don't know where to begin. Ok!!! MY TRIP....
It was amazing, Bratislava is an awesome city; it is a contrast between new and old separated by the Danube River. It is a city with a lot of beautiful girls, interesting place to know and cheap to stay and eat. I want to go back there soon.
What I can tell you about Vienna, it is a classical city, wonderful constructions, beautiful churches, this city breathes classical music, you can see on the streets "Mozart" invites you to watch opera at night. The trip on the Danube River from Vienna to Bratislava was excellent, I loved it.
After Bratislava we went to the Airport to take a flight to Istanbul, we were excited to go to Turkey, ultimately Istanbul is the only city in the world that is on two continents, it has a European side and an Asian side.
Everything went perfectly in line with our plans until you meet a small problem. Arianna, our Italian friend, thought that she would not need a passport to enter Turkey although we have warned her many times she would, even with a European passport. At the check in desk the attendant asked to see her passport. Arianna told him she didn´t have one with her and showed her Italian identity card. The attendant let her check-in but when we were waiting to board the plane he name was called on the airport speakers. The airport officials told her she could not board so we were left distressed; upset if she could not go with us for what would be the best trip for four friends.
After all that stress we arrived in Istanbul but had missed the bus so we slept on the floor of the airport for 4 hours until we could finally take a bus to the city. It was on the bus that the city started to amaze me with so many mosques, each one more beautiful the other, the women on the streets wearing the burqa, a culture totally different from ours and at the same beguiling. But Istanbul deserves its own post. I try to write it tomorrow.
